What is Glimpse?
At its core, "Glimpse" it's a novel that explores the inevitability of artificial intelligence in our lives and the universal language of human emotions that it seeks to understand. This novel isn't just about technology; it's a reflection on the human spirit, our desires, and how humanity's future might unfold in any corner of the world.
When I embarked on writing "Glimpse" between 2018 and 2020, the AI revolution was just a whisper on the horizon. Yet, there was a palpable sense of standing on the brink of something monumental—a sense shared not only by tech insiders but by anyone tuned into the changing winds of our time.
Driven by a personal challenge and a deep-seated desire to weave narratives, I delved into the story of an unexpected breakthrough: the creation of a SUPER AI that doesn't just mimic human emotions but understands them, alongside performing feats beyond our wildest imaginations.
"Glimpse" navigates through the worlds of Big Tech, startups, hackers, and AI programmers. It grapples with the complexities of legal regulations and the life that thrives beyond them. Yet, at its heart, this book endeavors to capture a fleeting look at a future that draws ever nearer—a future where AI and human emotions intertwine in unexpected ways.

"...Like other Sci-Fi books I've loved in the past, this book sticks in your head..." ---------------------------------- This is not an easy text, nor is it for everyone. Because it deals with themes that are very exciting but, at the same time, quite complex. However, like other Sci-Fi books that I have loved very much in the past, this book does stick in your head: the scenarios described, this drawing of a future "never come true" (or "not yet?") dovetails with themes that we have only begun to grapple with, but that we will certainly all have to grapple with, some sooner, some later. And underneath (but sub-underneath) this stimulating vision of a future that concerns everyone, an ode to humanity, to the beauty of being human, which always, even in a thousand years, will be fundamentally made of relationships and feelings. A very dense text, which should be read at leisure. And which I will reread shortly, aware that I have extracted only a small part of the content present, which, however, is constantly coming back to me. Recommended. And, I look forward to the sequel. Tales of atmospheres and places that are realistic and, for those who know and have lived them, comfortable in their truly being as they are described. At various times one finds oneself immersed in the dark cyberpunk atmospheres of the 1980s and 1990s, actualized with the futuristic developments and inherent fears of what the today shown could be our very likely tomorrow. Pleasant book that in the continuation of the reading becomes evocative and almost surreal in its being technologically very spiritual. Diego P.
"At first you are slightly put off by the number of characters but suddenly everything becomes clear." ---------------------------------- At first you are slightly thrown off guard by the number of characters but after a while and suddenly everything becomes clear and the novel begins to flow smoothly, immersing you in a world that is, yes, futuristic, but also holds many similarities to current times. The author reveals to you a world that could be markedly better if "guided" by an artificial mind, but at the same time he describes the peculiarities of man (love, selfishness, ambition, curiosity, intelligence, dullness, anger, altruism, ...) as distinctive traits of a being that thanks to its emotions is unique.
